Content Management Site

This is what we at ZimWeb recommend, using our recommended Content Management System(CMS) we build a website that is contained within a Content Management System. What we do is firstly come up with a design for your pages, this is a standard look and feel that will fit in with your existing corporate branding or, if you would prefer, our designer would be more than happy to help you to create a new image.

Secondly once the website has been approved we will create your website in the Content Management System and give you access to add the content to your website, with some guidance and training from us of course.

Then further to that if you have any more specific needs we can happily create components for your CMS, anything possible with current technology. An example would be that you want a Photo Gallery section of you site where you can organise and upload photos but you don't want to have to keep creating pages to do this, we could create a component to handle this for you and instead give you an easy to use interface to maintain this.

Customised Bespoke Website

For companies that want something that is fully tailored because the Content Management System might not meet all your needs, ZimWeb will gladly work with you to create whatever you want. Although this is the most expensive option, it is by far the best way to ensure that you get exactly what you want without having to worry about the coding behind. What we will do for you is build a website from scratch with ASP.Net, Javascript and a SQL Server 2005 Database backend, it is the most secure and efficient combination of website technologies available today. That advantages of going with this system are:

Database reuse, data from your website database can be shared with other applications

Hosting

You will require a company to host your website as ZimWeb does not have hosting facilities. Before choosing a host please discuss with ZimWeb as there are certain specifications required for hosting our websites. We are also more than happy to provide recommendations for hosting.

Domain Registration

ZimWeb is happy to help you find a domain for your business if you do not already have one, you will need this for your website and you can use this domain to create email addresses for your corporate identity.
